OoC|| xD I know. Corny name. But I'm bored beyond belief right now.
Amberpaw ran up to the tree, sitting down, but getting back up. She was too excited to stay still. She was finally able to leave the camp.. EVERY DAY! She meowed with anticipation. "Cinderfoot! Come on!" she called down the hill.

Cinderfoot bounded towards his exhilerated apprentice mreowing in laughter. "Amber! Wait up!" as soon as he sat next to her he breathed heavily and looked around. "Ah... this is where I fell in love with Moonfire," he sighed softly. Then glanced at his apprentice. "How did you like the tour? Do you know all the scents now? Anyway, do you know how to hunt at all?" He flicked his tail in excitment.

Amberpaw tried to answer all his questions at once. "Of course, yes, and I've only been told how warriors hunt. I've never tried it," she meowed, equally excited. Her first day out had been great. She couldn't wait for her next day of training.

"Well, before we conclude the training, I'd like you to tell me what you smell, and if you find any prey, where is it?" he questioned her. A glint of mischeif burned in his eyes.

Amberpaw nodded and raised her nose to the wind. She opened her mouth slightly to get a better scent. "I smell.. a mouse, Cinderfoot. And it's coming from..." She scented again. "Under the tree roots!" She whirled around to face the tree and looked down at the roots.

"Good," he purred and turned to the tree, he sat in a crouching position and saw the mouse scurry from the ground. He pounced and caught the mouse in his grasp. He gave it a fatal bite and flung it at Amberpaw. "See that?" he mewed. "That is how you get a mouse,"

Amberpaw batted at the mouse with the paws in the air, and playfully caught it in her mouth. She set it on the ground. "Cool," she mewed, smiling.
She scented the air again, hoping to catch the scent of another mouse. Fortunately, she did. "Cinderfoot, I smell another mouse," she whispered, looking around the tree roots, and saw it eating a seed under a tree root. She crouched low, stalking toward the mouse as quietly as she could. She pounced, and caught the mouse between her paws. She bit it until it went limp, and looked around at Cinderfoot with the mouse in her mouth. She put it next to the other mouse. "Like that?" she meowed proudly.

"Yes!" he mewed excitedly. "Congradulations, Amber! You caught your first prey! We should take these back to camp, or would you like to hunt some more?" he asked before padding to the mouse.

Amberpaw thought for a moment, then scented the air. "I smell a finch, but it's stale. Let's go back," she said, reluctantly meowing the last part. She picked up her mouse and padded in the direction of camp.

Cinderfoot shrugged and picked up his mouse, he reluctantly followed his apprentice.
